What is Permanent Make-Up?
Permanent make-up (also known as micro-pigmentation) is a form of tattooing and involves implanting medical
grade pigments in to the dermal layer of the skin. The procedure is designed to provide all the benefits of
make-up but with none of the hassle...imagine waking up in the morning and not having to draw on your brows
or apply eyeliner!
Permanent or Semi-Permanent?
The procedure is considered to be permanent since the implanted pigment will not disappear, however, the colour
will fade in time. This is why a colour boost is recommended to keep the colour looking fresh.
Who is it for?
People who meet the minimum age requirements and have the ability to heal properly from minor wounds can benefit from the liberating benefits of permanent cosmetics. Interest in Permanent Cosmetics spans the young to the more mature, those who desire a soft, natural enhancement to their appearance. It is especially valuable to people who cannot wear traditional cosmetics due to allergies and skin sensitivities, active people who want to look their best while partaking in sporting activities and those who worry about their make-up coming off throughout the day.
So what next?
Prior to your treatment you will have a 1/2 hour consultation so that we have the opportunity to discuss your desired look and how this can be achieved. Taking into account your skin tone, eye and hair colouring the pigment is custom blended for each individual. We analyse your face shape and features before drawing on the brows, eyeliner or lip line to give you an idea of the finished result. Should you decide to proceed with the treatment a patch test will be carried out and the paperwork will be completed. There is a £25 charge for the consultation, this is redeemable against your procedure.
Call Laura to book your consultation on 07565 531977 or complete the enquiry form and Laura will get back to you.
